Among my most favourite movies of 2018, I'll place Village Rockstars and Tumbbad at the top-spot because these two films define how movies should actually be made. On one side, where Rima Das has kept spontaneity & naturalness of characters & locations intact in Village Rockstars, the directors & cinematographers of Tumbbad have exhibited resilience and patience which a masterpiece requires. Village Rockstars will make you relive the childhood memories through every scene and Tumbbad will immerse you in folklore and relics. If you still haven't watched these two, you still have time !
